Plusses and Minuses. What you'd expect for the cost.
By E. Tucker
I just bought this Weslo manual treadmill about a month ago. I think it is great but I will tell you the pros and cons.
Pros-
I get a good workout on the first incline. I started out doing 20 minutes of walking and I am now doing 1 hour per day.
It is light weight. I can roll it without any trouble.
Easy to use. I bought a lubricant made for treadmills and spray some on each week. Just get on and start walking.
I think it is a better workout then an electric treadmill.
Cons-
It is loud.
You do need to hold on to the handles. If you just plan on walking it is great. I'm not so sure about running on it.
You will pretty much keep a steady pace....no real interval training if that's what you want.
Overall...It is much better than I expected and I am very happy with it. I have lost 10 pounds in the last few weeks from doing this and eating better.
Here's a link to the lubricant I purchased. It is the most well reviewed one.

VERY PLEASED !
By Terrie Kremheller
This is exactly what I was looking for in a treadmill. Nothing too complicated or unsafe for a person of mature age ( 66 yrs ). I am in charge of the speed and time, working at my own slow pace, building a little each day. The incline is better than flat walking, in my opinion. After a few weeks, I am up to 20 min per day in two 10 min sessions . This gets my heart rate going and I can feel a tightening in my muscles. It's perfect for winter exercise, to keep me moving and in stopping the "couch potato " effect .

OK - because the slope cannot be adjusted
By wen
No other problem, except that I didn't know the upper end's height cannot be adjusted, so I have to find wood blocks to raise the lower end. Otherwise it would deserve 5 stars, tooo bad.
